Students in farmer dress celebrating

KLPS students and staff raised $2733 for New South Wales farmers affected by drought.

On Tuesday 28th August KLPS staff and students donned their finest flannelette shirts, riding boots and jeans to raise $2733 for Australian farmers affected by drought.

For their gold coin donation students enjoyed a day of mufti dress, performances from the Primary Dance Groups, a buddy picnic for Kindergarten and Year 5, and even a visit from a baby goat!

Congratulations to all KLPS students who generously donated to this cause. The money will be used to supply bales of hay to our country cousins.
