Positive Behaviour for Learning, known as PBL, is a whole school approach to promote positive behaviour through rewards systems and wellbeing strategies.
The school community has developed three PBL expectations. At KLPS we are:
- Respectful
- Resilient
- Learners
Explicit lessons are taught to model behavioural expectations in all school settings. Positive behaviour is rewarded for following the PBL expectations.
PBL enables students to:
- develop a clear understanding of required expectations
- become responsible for their own behaviour
- work together to create a positive, productive and harmonious learning community
