Community Engagement Officer
In 2021 Sandra Anderson started her role within the school as the Community Hub’s Liaison Officer. She works Monday, Wednesday and Thursday during school hours and including school holidays. Although she is new to the school environment she has had 10 years experience in Aged and Disability Community Care which gives her an insight into community and family needs.

Programs available
Playgroup
We currently have a playgroup operating on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the school hall from 9:15am-10:30 am. This playgroup is available to all Kings Langley community with children not yet at school and is a great opportunity for families in the area to get to know each other and build relationships.
Pre Kindy support
We provide a supportive lead up to school for our pre-Kindergarten children.
These programs are a great opportunity for children to develop school readiness which include social skills, participating as part of a small group, correct pencil grip , fine motor skills and familiarity with the school environment.
Western Sydney Local Health also provides a free service at the Hub every Wednesday during school term for all 4 year olds in the community. Each child is given a complete health and development check and referred to a specialist if need be. It is a great way to have peace of mind your child is ready for school.
Vocational Pathways
Sandra provides formal and informal training to the community at the Hub via Tafe and College courses. These are a wonderful opportunity whether you are looking to gain new skills for future employment or joining for social interaction.
Family Assistance
Sandra has connections with many agencies and partnerships with the broader community and can connect you with the assistance you may need. Whether it be financial, DVO assistance, family support, counselling or NDIS along with many others. Please contact Sandra to discuss any concerns or needs you may have.
